Soarus LLC

Soarus L.L.C. was established in 1996 as the sales, marketing and R&D company for SoarnoL™ EVOH in North America. Today it services both North and South America with an entirely expanded speciality product portfolio.

Soarus has a fully equipped laboratory that allows it to provide rapid service and support to its customers, as well as provide pilot equipment for customer testing.

Soarus’ laboratory equipment includes a 9-extruder, 9-layer coextrusion blown film line, a 5-layer coextrusion cast film line, twin screw extruder, FTIR, DSC, digital microscopy, OTR and MVTR capability, as well as other analytical and mechanical testing equipment.

In addition, Soarus has a staff of highly trained technical individuals with many years of experience in barrier resins and coextrusion, who can help you with your individual needs.

Processing-Technique Development Center

The Processing-Technique Development Center was established in the city of Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture in 1997 to conduct Soarnol™ development and technical service activities in order to meet market needs.

For the specific promotion of “enhancing intelligence,” research and development activities are fused with technical services in order to promote activities with a stronger “market pull” approach for determining new customer needs.

On a daily basis, they work directly with customers to resolve problems in order to strengthen its position as a dependable technical partner.

Nippon Gohsei Europe GmbH Customer Service Center

The plant in Hull, England began operations in 2004 with a production capacity of 15,000 tons per year.

The Customer Service Center in Dusseldorf, Germany was established in 2002 as a technical support center for Europe.

Osaka Laboratory

The Osaka Laboratory is the core of vinyl alcohol product research and development and works toward the development of new products. In 1927, the Laboratory was founded and became the first in Japan to establish a technique for the industrialization of acetic acid in 1928.

Since that time, it has carried on the tradition as a technical leader, through the development of products such as Soarnol™, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) resin, “Gohsenol™”, and other distinctive products based on organic synthesis techniques.
