Central Research Laboratory
The Central Research Laboratory is the core of Nippon Gohsei’s research and development department and works toward the development of new products. In 1927, the Central Research Laboratory was founded and became the first in Japan to establish a technique for the industrialization of acetic acid in 1928.
Since that time, it has carried on the tradition of Nippon Gohsei as a technical leader, through the development of products such as Soarnol®, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) resin, “Gohsenol®”, and other distinctive products based on organic synthesis techniques.
At the physical analysis center located within the Central Research Laboratory, the physical (and other) properties of substances are studied as part of an effort to grow the company’s knowledge base and lead to future developments.
The Central Research Laboratory will continue to contribute to society by providing products with high added value.
